Whether you are new to elder law or have been practicing for years, you may not have come across AshBer yet. While our name may be new to you, our team brings more than 50 years of combined experience in the insurance and Medicaid planning industries.

We have worked with attorneys and financial professionals on Medicaid planning and understand the role a Medicaid Compliant Annuity can play when a client needs to qualify for Medicaid while protecting a spouse or addressing other planning concerns.

Every client situation is different, and an MCA may not be the right choice in every case. When it is being considered, attorneys should have the ability to look at the available options and decide what fits the client's circumstances and the Medicaid plan.

Our role is to work with the attorney throughout the annuity process. The attorney knows the client and is responsible for the legal advice and Medicaid planning. We provide the annuity experience and work with the attorney to handle the insurance side of the transaction.

We also understand that attorneys have established relationships with their clients and have their own way of handling Medicaid cases. AshBer is not looking to change that. We work within the process the attorney has established and provide support where an MCA is involved.

One of the things we value is the opportunity to get to know the people we work with. That is why we enjoy traveling to the elder law events we sponsor and spending time with attorneys in person. Our monthly webinars give us another opportunity to stay connected throughout the year and continue conversations beyond the events.
