MEDICAID ANNUITY PLANNER / PARALEGAL
AshBer is seeking a Medicaid Annuity Planner / Paralegal to join our team. AshBer is a fast-growing insurance marketing company specializing in Medicaid Compliant Annuities. We are a national company in the elder care industry. Our primary referral sources are elder law & estate planning attorneys as well as financial advisors of clients who are in need of long-term care planning.
LOCATION: Primarily work from home with some travel (approximately once every other month) to national and state-specific elder law conferences.
STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours as needed.
BASE SALARY RANGE: $50,000 - $100,000* per year with additional company bonuses after 90 days; profit share, 401K, paid vacation and holidays.
*Salaries/Wages will be based upon education, experiences, licenses etc.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Medicaid Planner, you will be the primary point of contact between AshBer and our Elder Law Attorneys, providing effective planning solutions to their client’s long term care needs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive planning letters and annuity quotes to our clients as requested.

Learn state-specific planning techniques relevant to individual states.

Travel to national and state-specific conferences to increase brand awareness and market AshBer’s services.

Present webinars on industry-related topics.

Recruit new business opportunities through internal leads, events, and various other marketing efforts. Recruiting efforts may be done via phone, email, or other social media platforms.

Maintain client relationships and provide on-going support, as needed.

Serve as the primary point of contact for your book of business.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in finance or related field.
Experience: A minimum of two years experience in related field. Having a legal or Medicaid background is an added bonus. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Licenses: Life and/or Health Insurance Licenses preferred. Appropriate licenses would need to be obtained within six months.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Web Browsers, and Mac operating system
Other Requirements:
Technical knowledge of annuity products preferred.
